The House Boat

Many inhabitants of Ha Long Bay, in the northeast part of Vietnam,  live either on floating timber houses or boats like this image. Of the 1,969 islands in Ha Long Bay, only approximately 40 are inhabited. In recent decades, thousands of villagers have been starting to settle down on the pristine islands and build new communities.
 
This  image is printed on 300gsm cotton rag paper and finished with a white mat; a glass window and a timber frame all ready to hang.  This image is also available as an unframed print.
