Comfort In Curves

Scientists and designers have published interesting research around why we find rounded surfaces pleasing and comfortable. The underlying reasoning is apparently primal – we prefer curves because they signal a lack of threat. We see it as comforting, and derive an innate pleasure from it. When those curves are the beautiful Sydney sandstone and iron railings framing the iconic Sydney Opera House then the observer becomes even more comfortable and derives pleasure from this image - or so I hope !!.
 
This  image is printed on 300gsm cotton rag paper and finished with a white mat; a glass window and a timber frame all ready to hang.  This image is also available as an unframed print. All my photography is limited edition and is  digitally signed and numbered in the bottom right hand corner of the image.
